During the Shreeman Mahasādhū Shri Moraya Gosavi Maharaj Sanjeevan Samadhi Ceremony, now in its 464th year (2025), organized by the Chinchwad Devasthan Trust, Mr. Umesh Bhagwanji Vaghela—bird and wildlife researcher and Founder of ALIVE Charitable Trust—was honoured with the Shri Moraya Gosavi Award.

The award was presented on 9 December 2025, on the eve of the Sanjeevan Samadhi anniversary at Chinchwad, Pune, by senior industrialist and Chairman of Force Motors (formerly Bajaj Tempo), Mr. Abhay Firodia.

The award comprised a memento, shawl, rose bouquet, coconut, Moraya calendar, and a cash prize of ₹5,000. Mr. Vaghela was chosen for this honour in recognition of his 17 years of dedicated work in wildlife study and nature conservation.
