Due to increasing urbanization, road widening, and various development projects, large-scale tree cutting is taking place. As a result, air quality has reached hazardous levels, and temperatures are rising year after year. Trees are not just greenery — they are vital ecosystems and a core part of biodiversity. Every breath we take is thanks to the oxygen produced by trees. Life without trees is unimaginable.
Alive Charitable Trust (formerly Swastishree) has been conducting the “One Day for Nature” native tree plantation initiative across various locations since 2010. This marks the 16th year of the campaign.
You too can contribute to nature conservation by participating in this initiative. A minimum donation of ₹201/– is encouraged as a gesture of support.
This year, we’re organizing the “One Day for Nature” event in collaboration with Aniket Seva Bhavi Sanstha, working alongside children with special needs, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
The saplings planted during this initiative will be nurtured and taken care of. Participants will receive light refreshments, a participation certificate, and a special gift.
